Concept
Ashton knew exactly what kind of bridal gown she wanted and we set about to create this beautiful customized dress with a flattering sweetheart neckline, natural waist, a-line organza skirt, and unique combination of geometric and floral lace.
Creation
For custom gowns, we begin with creating a pattern based on the bride’s measurements and a mock-up gown to test the fit. Ashton knew she wanted the gown to feel as light as possible and not be weighed down with multiple layers of lining and petticoats.
Couture
Once the first layers of the dress were assembled, we hand placed and sewed the different pieces of lace to convey Ashton’s desired vision. The beaded crosshatched lace covered the bodice, while the floral pieces climbed the neckline onto the straps and embellished the waistline.
